In the beginning of March, Bertil Rydergren will be appointed Technical Director of Nordic Radio. Bertil will primarily focus on strategic product development.

Bertil has over 20 years experience in product development starting at Ericsson followed by Instrumentverken AB (later Silva Sweden AB). From 1989 he was appointed R&D manager at Silva Sweden AB.

Since Fiskars OY acquisition of Silva Sweden AB, Nexus Marine AB was founded and the main part of  the R&D team followed into the new company where Bertil continued his role as R&D manger.

During this period, marine instruments, electronic compasses, wind sensors, GPS and navigation systems, wireless communication and systems aimed for sail racing was developed.
